Lot’s of updates, including a name change!

Wow, it’s been a crazy year of behind the scenes development—and today we’re finally ready to talk about them!

So, what’s new?

New design options!

The first thing is probably the most important to you, today we’re announcing that we’ve launched a new social wall platform with 12 new layouts, and hundreds of customization options, including being able to directly edit the HTML, CSS or Javascript to make it as customized you want. And for those of you using advanced setups, like Chromakey, you weren’t left out, there’s some of those too.

Twitter, Slack, Instagram, and moaarrr!

The second thing is the announcement of more content sources! You can now create your social walls using not just Twitter and Instagram, but also Slack!  Slack is something we’ve been getting asked for practically since they launched.

We use Slack here, and it really is the perfect communication tool—but one thing we wanted to do from the beginning was to make it so you can show your Slack posts on screens in your office, and that actually leads me into the third announcement…. We now support ongoing walls, so you can show a wall on a screen at your office year round.

Want to embed it on your website?  Our new Social Media Hubs are perfect for that and they work perfectly with ongoing walls as well.

Another smaller change, that has huge ramifications, is that we no longer require Twitter on all walls—you can pick any one, or even all of Twitter, Instagram, Slack or Everwall Connect sources. Mix and match as you desire and make your social wall exactly what you want.

Moderation Changes

Have you ever used our full moderation service? If you did, I’m sure you came away thinking, “that worked, but it could be so much better.” I know we did every time we used it, and we made some major changes around full moderation.  Now you can have unlimited moderators moderating, and you won’t step on each other’s toes.  You can sort the queues, import posts and more.  It was a complete rewrite from the ground up that incorporated the feedback from thousands of people.  It’s fast and super intuitive.

Oh, and if you don’t have people that can moderate your wall, we can now do it for you! We have a team of moderators available 24/7 that’ll do it all for you.

Another big one

These are just the highlights of some of the new features. We literally did a complete rewrite of everything we had to incorporate everything we’ve been getting asked for, so there’s tons of stuff, and the only way to really see it all is to create a new social wall. And don’t worry, we took the time to do it right, so it’s fast, intuitive and easy to use.

Because of all the updates, we have one more update to announce… As of today, we’re changing our name from Tweetwall to Everwall.

Why the name change?

Because we have so much in the works, that when we looked at it all, it just no longer made sense for our future to continue calling ourselves “Tweetwall”.  It also helps with the long-standing misnomer that because we were called Tweetwall, that we only supported Twitter.  The fact is: we’ve supported Instagram for years.

What are you waiting for?

No, really, what are you waiting for?  Take a peek at the new platform, build a wall or two, and of course, if you have any feedback at all, reach out.
