Do you have any recommended hardware?

We do not make any specific equipment recommendations for what hardware to use because every event’s need are different, but we do have a few general guidelines for the hardware:

• If using a flat screen display, try to use one that is either a 4k resolution (3840×2160) or 1080p resolution (1920×1080) resolution. A 720p display is acceptable, but 4k is preferred because the social wall will be more crisp and clean. No matter which of these resolutions you use, they all have a 16:9 aspect ratio, and our social walls will scale for that aspect ratio. If doing portrait (9:16), we have a few designs for that as well.
• If using a projector, try to get as close to 4k or 1080p as possible. A projector using 1024×768 (sometimes called Full HD) is likely to appear blurry if projected to a large size. No matter what resolution you use, the wall will scale automatically.
• Use a laptop or computer with and HDMI port, and connect to the TV or projector using it.
• Our social walls are essentially just web pages that get shown on the screen, so you’ll also want to use a browser to show it, and for that we usually recommend Google Chrome since it makes it easy to hide the address bar.
