Is the subscription per 24 hour period or by calendar day?
The subscription is billed by calendar day (from midnight to midnight in the timezone you configure when setting up the social wall), not by a 24-hour period that you start at a certain time. Because not all events run during a standard single day, we also include padding before and after the event to cover non-standard times (for example, for events that end at 3 am you can still purchase a single day). If your event is like this, you can still purchase single day and then provide us with the date with the most hours when setting up the social wall. This way, you’ll be billed for only one day and still get coverage for the entire event.
All social walls that are purchased in advance of the event get a pre-event monitoring period that starts 72 hours before the first event date (the first 48 hours of this will have a notice that you’re in the pre-event monitoring period and to not display it publicly). The post-event buffer is 12 hours, so at noon the following morning we will stop the monitoring for your social wall.
If you have specific questions about your event and how to ensure full coverage, please contact support and we’ll help you determine the best options based on the dates and times you provide.
