If you’re using one of our apps (such as the Chrome App), there’s nothing you need to do. The app will automatically keep your computer awake whenever a wall is loaded (note: this doesn’t apply when you’re just on the search screen).

Installing the Everwall Chrome App is quick and easy:
To launch a Social wall at any time, just click the Social wall icon and search for your event.

Not at this time. The Chrome team hasn’t released an API that would allow us to add Chromecast support directly into the Everwall Chrome App.
That said, you can still use Chromecast to display your wall:
Install the Google Cast Chrome Browser Extension.
Open your wall in a Chrome browser tab.
Cast that tab to your Chromecast device.
As soon as native Chromecast support becomes possible, we’ll add it to the app.
To return to the search screen in the ChromeOS App, you have two options:
With a mouse: Move your mouse to the top of the screen. A bar will appear—click the Home button in the top-left corner.
With a keyboard (no mouse): Press the Left Arrow key to go back.
You can use any modern, standards-compliant browser to display your social wall. We highly recommend Google Chrome, but it also works well with Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

If you’re on a PC, press the F11 key on your keyboard. If you’re on a Mac, press Shift+Command+F simultaneously. This should work for most common browsers, but only Google Chrome hides the entire browser window; other browsers like Safari and Firefox typically leave the address bar visible.
No, you don’t need to install anything to display your social wall, except for a web browser. Any modern web browser should work fine, though we highly recommend using Google Chrome (it makes it really easy to hide the address bar so your social wall takes up the entire screen).
If you’re comfortable installing software, we also provide a few dedicated apps for displaying your social wall. The advantage to using one of them is that they prevent your computer from going to sleep, will hide the mouse, and automatically will display the wall in full screen.
We do not make any specific equipment recommendations for what hardware to use because every event’s need are different, but we do have a few general guidelines for the hardware:
