How to Embed Your Social Wall on a Website
If you want to display the same curated social media posts you’re showing on your social wall directly on your website or in an event app, you can easily do so using our Website Embed feature.
This tutorial focuses on embedding it onto your website, but we do have another tutorial that more directly talks about how to embed it in your event app. The process is very similar, but we recommend that tutorial if adding it to your event app is your goal.
How to Embed Your Social Wall on your Website
Step 1: Log into your Everwall account and select the Social Wall you want to embed onto your website. If you only have one Social Wall in your Everwall account, you’ll be sent straight into that Social Wall’s Overview page and won’t have the option to select one. From the Overview page, click the Website Embeds menu item on the left.
Step 2: Select the design that you want get the embed code for. If you have not yet created a design, you can click the Create New Design button to create one (here’s a tutorial for how to create a new design).
Step 3: Once you have selected your design (or created a new hub design), click the Get Embed Code button near the top of the page.
Step 4: The Get Embed Code window will appear automatically and show you the embed code to use for embedding on a website. To make copying the embed code easy, you can click the Click to Copy Code button to copy the embed code.
Step 5: You’ll now have the code copied, and can paste it into your website’s code. You should be able to add the code to any website. If your website is a WordPress based website, you’ll want to make sure you switch the text field from Visual to Text if you are using the Classic Editor and paste it in that way. If you are using the newer Gutenberg editor, you’ll want to add a HTML Code or Embed Code block, and then paste in the code into that.
