The background image should be the same resolution as your screens will be. For example, of the screens you’ll be displaying your wall are Full HD, then the background should be 1920 x 1080.
By default background images are scaled to cover the screen, so even if you do not get the size exactly right, it’ll still cover the whole screen. If you do not want this behavior, you can change it after you’ve uploaded the background image.
