Polls

Poll link

Using your Everwall social wall, you can conduct polls where your attendees can participate. Depending on which way you’ve chosen when creating your poll—voting via the text in a post, or voting via the we form interface—will determine how they can submit their votes.

Like everything else in Everwall, Polls are updated in real-time as the votes come in. If moderation is disabled, updates happen almost instantly, creating a dynamic and interactive experience for viewers of the social wall. If the poll requires messages to be checked for votes, then it’ll update instantly as the posts are approved.

We support you running multiple polls concurrently, however only one poll can be shown on the social wall at a time. Because polls don’t need to be shown on screen to be running, you can also just show it when you want people to see the results. When you show the poll, it will take over the location of the leaderboard.

There are no additional costs to use this feature.

Voting via text in a post

Attendees can vote using any content sources that you’ve enabled. If the content source requires an event hashtag to get pulled into Everwall, they’ll need to include both your event hashtag and the hashtag or keyword that you set up in the poll. Content sources that are dedicated to your event, like Everwall Direct (the web form) or SMS, only need to include the category keyword they want to vote for.

Voting using the web form interface

If you’ve set this option when creating the poll, then the user will be able to navigate to your active polls from the web form page and tap the category they want to vote for.
