Polls Overview

Using your Everwall social wall, you can conduct polls where your attendees can participate. Attendees can vote in these polls using any content sources that you set up. If the content source requires an event hashtag to get pulled into Everwall, they’ll need to include both your event hashtag and the hashtag or keyword that you setup in the poll. Content sources that are dedicated to your event, like Everwall Direct (the web form) or SMS, only need to include the category keyword they want to vote for.

Like everything else in Everwall, Polls are updated in realtime as the posts are approved. If you have moderation disabled, the polls will update almost instantly, which can create a dynamic and interactive experience for those viewing the social wall.

We support you running multiple polls concurrently, however only one poll can be shown on the social wall at a time. Because polls don’t need to be shown on screen to be running, you can also just show it when you want people to see the results. When you show the poll, it typically will take over the location of the leaderboard.
