In 2019, Andrew K. Benton—the long-time President at Pepperdine University—announced his planned retirement, and the team at Pepperdine wanted to put together a celebration event for his 19 years of service.
FISE World Montpellier
In coordination with RedTorch UK, Everwall was contracted to provide a social media wall for SFR Sport at FISE World in Montpellier, France, with over 600,000 attendees.
RedTorch determined that one of the most engaging options would be to use the #selfise hashtag, and seek selfies of those at FISE—a selfise… And that was a massive success. More than 500 people at the event submitted their #selfise posts, which garnered nearly 700,000 digital impressions.
Everwall built a custom social wall for the event, that was shown on four giant screens allowing the on-site fans to see an engage with the social media posts using the #selfise hashtag.
