How to Embed a Leaderboard on your Website

Leaderboards

Integrating a leaderboard into your website is a great way to showcase the people interacting the most at your event on your website, or in your event’s app—and it’s just as simple as adding any other widget you might have already added to your website.

To get started, all you need to do is request a copy of the embed code snippet and insert it into your website’s HTML code. This feature is currently in private beta testing, so please reach out to support and we can help you get the leaderboard embed code for your website.

We can customize many of the options, and you can have multiple designs allowing you to make it fit in with your website in different locations, or show it standalone—like in an event app.

Customization Options:

  • Leaderboard Type (Interactions, Followers, Engagement, and Custom)
  • Leaderboard Period (All event days, each individual day, or weekly for Hubs and Digital Signage)
  • Number of participants to show on the leaderboard (1-100)
  • Design:
    • Layout (Vertical or Horizontal)
    • Leaderboard Title (the name, positioning, fonts, and colors)
    • If you want it to update in realtime
    • Language
    • Colors for avatar borders, background colors, font colors, etc
    • Avatars (Show/Hide, circle/square, borders, sizing, etc)
    • Allow clicking through to the original social network
    • Custom code (HTML/CSS/Javascript)

Again, this is a beta feature at this time, so to use it, please contact us and we’d be happy to get it setup for you. If possible, please include the URL of the page you’ll be embedding it on so our team can apply basic styles that work. You can also tell us what you design for each of the options listed above to expedite the creation of your embed code.
