How To Add LinkedIn to Your Social Wall
Everwall supports displaying posts from LinkedIn. To use it you will first connect your LinkedIn account to Everwall, and then once connected, you can import any public post on LinkedIn into Everwall.
LinkedIn does not currently allow for automated importing of posts, so at this time you must manually import them into Everwall. Since LinkedIn requires you to add the post to Everwall manually, and the process of importing posts is already an act of moderation, when you add a LinkedIn post it will be displayed automatically. You will not have to moderate LinkedIn posts again if you have moderation enabled.
How to Add LinkedIn as Your Social Content on Your Wall
Step 1: In the content sources page, select LinkedIn as your content source.
Step 2: Click Add your LinkedIn Account button to connect your LinkedIn account to Everwall. If you’ve already connected an account before, this screen will show that account instead, and it will also show a button below to add another LinkedIn account if you wish.
Step 3: After clicking the button you’re sent to LinkedIn’s website to log in. Enter your LinkedIn email, and password to sign in.
Step 4: After successfully signing in, click the Enable LinkedIn button to add LinkedIn as your official content source.
Step 5: Once LinkedIn is enabled, you will see LinkedIn in the list as your content source.
Due to LinkedIn’s policies, third-party services cannot automatically access posts. You need to use LinkedIn directly and utilize their “copy link to post” feature to get posts onto your social wall. For more details on that process, we’ve created a tutorial walking you through how to import posts from LinkedIn.
