What happens if my internet connection drops during the event?

If the internet connection drops during an event, the social wall will not get any new posts, since Everwall relies on an active internet connection, but it will otherwise continue displaying just fine and will cycle the content it loaded before the internet connection dropped.

Once your social wall detects an active connection again it will resume real-time updates and display any new posts that came in during the downtime. Because we do all of the monitoring from our servers, no posts will be lost if your internet connection goes down.

To mitigate potential disruptions, consider using a wired connection over Wi-Fi, and if the social wall is critical to your event, have a backup internet source, such as a mobile hotspot, available.
