How to Edit a Post’s Displayed Text
There are two categories of captions that can be included in a post: a Post caption and a Media caption.
- Post Caption: Post captions allow you to provide an alternate text for a post, enabling various applications such as language translations and text summarization. However, it is essential to use this feature responsibly and avoid misusing it to make someone say things they wouldn’t endorse. To remove a caption and revert to the author’s original text, click the Clear Text button (or manually delete all the text) and save the changes.
- Media Caption: Media captions are used for adding specific notes to media, such as copyright notices, the photographer’s name, or providing a general description of the media’s content. When using our Social Media Hub, this information will be included as “alt” text for the image. However, please note that these captions will not be visibly displayed on Event and Ongoing Walls
